During my first visit to Portland in 2007, I knew it would be my next home. I immediately connected with the community’s focus on supporting local artisans and entrepreneurs, living lightly on the Earth, and how the relationship between nearby farmers and chefs has put Portland on the national food scene. Soon thereafter, I was putting down my Pacific Northwest roots.
Working in real estate melds all my favorite aspects of the unique career path I’ve taken into one: helping people, exploring the endless nooks and crannies in Portland, managing minute details, negotiation, problem solving, ensuring clear communication across teams, and working within a budget. The challenge of finding the right house for the right people and guiding them towards home ownership is invigorating.
Over the last 20 years I have honed my skills of turning ideas, hopes and visions into reality. My process begins by listening deeply, asking the right questions, and identifying the motivating factors. Next, we define the priorities in order to develop the strategy we will take to help achieve the goal. I walk alongside my clients, coaching and educating at each step to ensure they are able to make informed decisions. Although the goal stays in focus, the edges often remain fluid as the process continues; information provides clarity and growth, ultimately propelling vision into actuality.
When I’m not working you can find me hanging out with my family, tending to my garden, hiking, camping, or planning our next travel adventure.
